So... How Do You Tour With A Babby? 👶 🔥

We’ve probably been asked one question more than anything else over the last few months…

“Now you’ve got Bobby, are you still touring? And does he come with you?”

The answer is… yes and yes!

With Bobby coming up to six months old, we thought we’d give you a little update on how life with a tour baby is actually going.

We’ll be completely honest everything is so much harder! There’s a LOT more planning involved, and we’re still taking far too much stuff everywhere we go (we’re working on that… ), but so far, it’s actually working really well.

Bobby comes away with us for all of the tour dates. Luckily, on this run we’ve played most of the venues before, so we already know which green rooms are suitable for him. At venues where they aren’t, or somewhere we haven’t been before and aren’t quite sure what to expect, he stays back at our accommodation.

Our tour manager Matt’s wife comes away with us to look after Bobby while we’re on stage. We’ve known her for years, he absolutely adores her, and it means that most days he can be with us right up until we go on stage and we know he’s with someone we completely trust.

This whole tour has really been us dipping our toe into the water and figuring out what touring as a family actually looks like. It’s one of the reasons we decided to do roughly one week on, one week off giving Bobby a chance to be back home in between, and giving all three of us time to adjust to this completely new way of doing things.

For years, when it was literally just the two of us travelling around and doing everything ourselves, we genuinely wondered whether having a family would ever work alongside the life we’d chosen.

So we feel incredibly lucky that we’re now at a point where we have such a brilliant team of good people around us who genuinely care about WRM and about our little family too.

And Bobby seems to be taking tour life completely in his stride. He loves everyone… particularly Uncle Foxy!

Most importantly, we’re absolutely loving this tour. The shows have been incredible, and seeing so many of you coming out to support us while we navigate this new chapter has meant more than you probably realise.

So yes we’re still touring. There’s just three of us now.

Much Love

P.S. Huddersfield, see you all tonight
