It feels really weird to be saying this already, but we’re coming towards the end of our Rhythm Rust & Static Tour! We’ve only got two shows left. Arlington Arts and The Black Prince and after everything this tour has given us, we’re really looking forward to making those final two nights count.
This tour has been such a brilliant experience for us.
There’s been something really special about stripping things back, approaching the songs differently and having the freedom that comes with being a smaller band on the road. With so many nights being sold out and seeing so many of you turning up night after night has made the whole tour what it is.
No time to sit still… The Backbone Tour is looming!
At the end of November, we’ll be heading back out on the road, but this time we’re going in completely the opposite direction. The full six-piece band is coming back together.
Apart from our appearance at Alfold Festival earlier this year, we haven’t been out as a six-piece since the Tree of Life Tour last year. We genuinely cannot wait to get everyone back together.
And there’s another bit of nostalgia attached to this tour, we’ll be travelling together on a tour bus!!!
It’ll be the first time we’ve toured on a bus since the Flying Free Tour back in 2021, so it feels like a bit of a full circle moment. And this time we’ll have our little baby Bobby joining us for the adventure too!
One of the things we love most about being completely independent is the freedom it gives us to make these choices. Whether that’s deciding to head out as a three piece, getting the full six-piece band back together, choosing how and where we tour, or deciding what direction we want to take with a new album those decisions are ours.
Which brings us nicely onto what’s happening behind the scenes…
Back in February, Grace was extremely pregnant with Bobby, Foxy and Ads spent pretty much the entire month with us in our cabin. We were writing, and writing some more.
Soon we’ll be getting back together again to pick up where we left off, working through the songs, creating new ideas and figuring out exactly where we want to take this next record. And we have a direction we want to explore
So there’s a lot happening over the next few months, the final shows of this tour, getting the six-piece back together for the The Backbone Tour, getting back on a tour bus after five years, and then disappearing back into the studio to start creating the next chapter.
