First of all, thank you.
The last email we sent wasn’t the one we wanted to send. Having to announce the delay to Rhythm Rust & Static was frustrating for us, but your understanding, patience and support meant the world.
Now the great news?
All the vinyl has now arrived!!!
After months of writing, recording, planning, designing, proofing, approving, waiting and wondering… the records are finally here and we’re now deep into checking, signing and preparing everything ready for release day on 19th June.
One of the recent reviews described us as having a “fiercely guarded independence” and that phrase really stuck with us.
Because when you’re an independent band, there isn’t a big record company handling everything behind the scenes.
We don’t just write the songs and turn up for the photos.
And right now we’re opening boxes and checking the finished vinyl ourselves to make sure everything is exactly as it should be before it reaches your hands.
Of course, we don’t do it alone.
We have an incredible team, that we've built, around us.
And the reason we’re able to make albums this way is because of you...
Because you crowdfund them.
Because you buy the records.
Because you come to the shows.
Because you believe in what we’re doing.
That support gives us the freedom to make the music we want to make, without anyone watering it down or telling us what it should sound like.
And judging by the reviews coming in, that freedom has made its way onto this record...
