This Friday we’re releasing the first single from our new album Rhythm Rust & Static. The song is called The Tide Is Turning.
This one comes from those nights out on the road when everything feels a little rough around the edges. The windows are rattling from the amps, the venue is packed and noisy, there’s the smell of beer in the air and the floors are sticky beneath your feet.
️️️It captures that moment just before stepping on stage when the anticipation starts to build and you can feel the energy of the room coming alive. Underneath it all there’s a feeling that this is exactly where you’re meant to be. It’s a feeling we both crave.
Recently we were walking past a venue and could hear a band soundchecking inside. It wasn’t our show, but the moment we heard the band through the walls we both felt that same rush of excitement and anticipation you get just before a gig.
That moment is exactly what this song is about.
The Tide Is Turning will be released at 10am GMT on Friday across all streaming platforms, and the music video will go live at the same time. We can’t wait for you to hear and see it.

This single is the first glimpse into the world of our upcoming album Rhythm Rust & Static, which arrives on the 29th May.
